Epilogue...

That was a long ten days of chasing with storms on every day - that's a 10/10 hit rate! Total miles were only 88 less than the record of 2019 and that was over 11 days, with seven different states visited. Chasing in the corner of Missouri and Arkansas was a new one for me, a beautiful part of the world with hills, rivers and forests but hopeless for chasing.

Highlights were some stunning storm structures including a corkscrewing updraft, a glimpse of a tornado in Kansas, a tornado emergency (new one for me and never to be forgotten) and rain wrapped EF3 in Texas, some good food with the one horrendous breakfast in Bricktown. We also ran into Pecos Hank in Texas, sadly didn't have the opportunity to say hello, had     tornado sirens blaring, plenty of tornado warnings, PDS watches, 100f heat and even found time for a morning's sight seeing in Nebraska. We were enveloped in a dust storm and had to flee a monster bow echo with tumbleweed flying past us, had gustnadoes spinning up around us and dodged a monster hail core. I also got some fab photos and Alex had a great time.

Out of the 10 days the SPC issued the following risks:

Moderate -1
Enhanced - 5
Slight - 4

and Tornado %:

15% hatched - 1
10% hatched - 1
5% - 4
5% - 4
